The organisation needed to publish its news and research without asking a developer each time, and to stop depending on a hosted database it did not control.

What we built

A SvelteKit website with Payload CMS behind it and a staging site to review changes before they go live. The team edits news and articles from the CMS.

We then moved its database from a hosted provider to a PostgreSQL server we run, with daily encrypted backups. The cut-over was checked table by table: 23 tables and 81 rows, none lost.
